Overview: Tower-90
- 6 runs on a 90m track. With 2 warm-up runs (canter & shooting)
- Arrows may be held in either hand, a quiver, belt or sash
- You may start prenocked.
- Gait = canter/gallop
- Arrows must be shot within the track in order to score
- 9m from the track edge is a target tower with 3 target faces. The centre of the
target(s) is 1.8m (+0.2m) high.
- Hits on the 5-zone, 90cm round targets are scored: 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1pt.
- There is no limit to how many arrows may be shot at the targets.
- The time allowed for the track is 18 seconds.
- A speed bonus is awarded for going faster than 18.00s; as long as 3 arrows
are shot and at least 1 hits the target.
- The raw time bonus is 1pt/sec; this has a multiplier applied according to the
number of arrows that score on the targets:
1 hit --> x 0.5,
2 or 3 hits --> x 1.0,
4 or more hits --> x 1.5
- A speed penalty of 5pts is applied if you record a time of 18.01-20s
- If you exceed 20s, you score zero for that run.
- A person cannot score less than 0 on a run .
- The scores for all runs are added to give a total score.
