system and competition accreditation/R&R status, give competitors the assurance they
seek of a high quality and fair competition wherever they see the IHAA logo. These
factors also allow confidence in the IHAA HBAE World Ranking (launched in 2023) as
competitions all over the world are comparable.
In 2024, our tenth anniversary year, we put Horse Welfare and Rider Safety back at the
top of the agenda. New rules and procedures help our judges to communicate more
e fectively and to implement the IHAA Code of Equine Welfare.
We are excited about what the future will hold for our sport and know that the
standardised rules contained in this rulebook will provide a strong foundation.
